Purpose

This site presents Runline, an app for iPhone, iPad and Mac that runs language-model workflows from Shortcuts.

Questions, problems or ideas? Write to juanpecm@gmail.com and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Privacy on this site

This site has no forms and uses no cookies. It counts visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify visitors: it only aggregates details such as the page viewed, the country and the type of browser.

If you switch languages, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage; it never leaves your device and you can clear it in your browser's settings.

The hosting provider may log technical details of each visit, such as the IP address and time, to serve the site and protect it from abuse.

Privacy in the app

Runline has no accounts and no servers of its own. Your workflows, their inputs and results, and your keys never reach its developer.

Where your data lives. Workflows, models, plugins, secrets and executions are stored on your device and, if you turn on sync, in your iCloud (iCloud Drive and iCloud Keychain), under your Apple Account. The history keeps each run's text only if you turn on "Keep inputs and outputs"; images are never kept.

Models. By default, steps use Apple's on-device model or MLX models you download, and nothing leaves the device. Apple Private Cloud Compute processes requests on Apple's servers without Apple being able to see the data. If you turn on Claude (Anthropic), OpenAI, Vercel AI Gateway or an OpenAI-compatible server, the app asks for your permission first and, from then on, steps that use them send their input (the text and, if there is one, an image) directly to that provider with your own key. Their terms and privacy policy apply; Runline doesn't receive that data.

Hugging Face. Searching and downloading models connects to Hugging Face without an account; like any website, Hugging Face sees your IP address.

Actions you set up. "Call an API", "Read Web Page", "Send to Telegram" and "Use a Tool" (plugins and MCP servers) connect to the addresses you set up. Anything that can change something asks before each run, unless you turn that off for a workflow.

Usage data. With "Share usage data" on (Settings; on by default), the app sends TelemetryDeck anonymous counts of the features you use, such as "workflow run" (with where it started, whether it succeeded and the kind of model, like "on device" or "Claude") or "step added" (with its kind). They come with the app and system version, the device model, the language, the country and an encrypted install identifier that can't tell who you are. They never include workflow names or content, inputs, results, specific models, addresses or keys. Purpose: learning which features are used to improve the app. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)); you can object at any time by turning off "Share usage data". TelemetryDeck GmbH (Augsburg, Germany) provides the service and hosts the data in the European Union.

No tracking. Runline has no ads, doesn't use the advertising identifier and doesn't track you across apps or websites.

Your rights. You can ask for access, correction, deletion, objection or restriction by writing to juanpecm@gmail.com, and complain to Spain's data protection authority (aepd.es). If this policy changes, the date above will say so.

Trademarks

Apple, iPhone, iPad, Mac, Siri and Shortcuts are trademarks of Apple Inc. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic, OpenAI of OpenAI and Hugging Face of Hugging Face, Inc. Runline is an independent product, not affiliated with or endorsed by any of them.

Intellectual property
